Shoemaking Workshop - Combined Online & In person

This group (max. 5) shoemaking workshop runs over two days (usually weekend) - Sat 10-5 & Sun 10-4.
Prior to attending this workshop, you will need to spend about 2h drawing your pattern at home. Once you sign up, I will send you link to the Online Shoemaking workshop private Facebook group, where you will find your recorded lesson on how to draw the paper pattern for your shoes. You will have access to the full Online workshop which has lessons on the complete making of your chosen style of shoes - this is your free BONUS.
You will make your own handcrafted pair of leather barefoot style shoes. You will choose your colour for leather and thread and you can personalise your shoes with stamps and markers.
This workshop is for you if....
+ you can spend about 2-3h at home drawing the paper pattern
+ you are shoemaking beginner
+ you want to learn to make shoes step by step from the beginning to the end, this also includes pattern drawing (your homework prior to the live workshop)
+ you want to enjoy a pleasant weekend in the company of other crafters
+ you want to learn the skill of shoemaking with minimum tools, you don't want to use expensive machines
+ you want to take home a finished pair of shoes and the skill to make another pair anytime at home
Note: All materials and tools will be supplied, except for pattern drawing at home you will need 2x A4 paper (printer paper is good), 1x A3 paper, ruler, measuring tape, pencil, sharpener, rubber, red and green pencil/crayon, cork mat or similar, scissors. Chisel/stitch pitch/spacer will also be needed, as this is something you probably don't have at home, I will post it to you once you sign up and will ask you to please return to me at the workshop. Closing day for finishing your pattern is 10 days before the live workshop date in order for me to review/consult your pattern and give you time to make changes if needed.
You can enjoy vegetarian lunch on both days for only €16 (tea/coffee & home baked treats included with the workshop). Or you can bring your own lunch.
