Shoemaking Workshop - baby shoes, Aughavannagh, Co.Wicklow

Sunday 5th March 23 - 9am-5pm

In this one day shoemaking workshop you will make toddler size (you can choose from sizes 20 to 25) leather shoes barefoot style. As this is only a one day workshop, we won't be drawing the pattern (you will get a ready made paper pattern). We will be concentrating on cutting and dying the leather, decorating, punching holes, stitching and gluing.
This is a beginner workshop and everyone can do it. No machines will be used, only few small tools and your hands. You will be able to make more shoes at home and I will tell you where to get all supplies needed (everything can be ordered online in one place).
Tea/coffee and homebaked treats will be provided. I'm sure that you will enjoy this day in the beautiful Aughavannagh in county Wicklow and you will have a lovely pair of shoes for your little one and the skills to make more .
